Delhi High Court SPA Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for the Senior Personal Assistant post must fulfil the following educational and skill requirements:
- Graduation degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 110 words per minute in English shorthand.
- Minimum 40 words per minute in English typing on computer.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
The required qualification must be possessed by the candidate on or before October 5, 2026, which is the last date for submission of online applications.
Delhi High Court PA Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for the Personal Assistant post must have:
- Graduation degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 100 words per minute in English shorthand.
- Minimum 40 words per minute in English typing on computer.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
The final result of the required educational qualification must have been declared on or before the closing date of the application.
Important Note
Candidates applying for both SPA and PA posts must submit separate applications and pay the prescribed fee separately for each post. Offline applications will not be accepted.
Delhi High Court SPA PA Age Limit 2026
The candidate’s age should be 18 to 32 years as on January 1, 2026.
Therefore, the candidate should have been born:
- Not earlier than January 2, 1994
- Not later than January 1, 2008
Age relaxation will be available to eligible reserved categories as per the rules mentioned in the official notification.
Delhi High Court SPA PA Application Fee 2026
Candidates are required to pay the prescribed examination fee through the online payment mode.

Delhi High Court SPA PA Selection Process 2026
The selection process for both Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant posts consists of four stages:
- English Typing Test
- English Shorthand Test
- Main Descriptive Examination
- Interview
The English Typing Test is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the Shorthand Test, Main Descriptive Examination and Interview.
Delhi High Court SPA Typing Test 2026
For the Senior Personal Assistant post, the English Typing Test will be conducted on a computer for 10 minutes.
Candidates must achieve a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
The typing speed will be calculated using the characters with spaces criterion. Up to 3% mistakes of the total words typed are permissible.
Delhi High Court SPA Shorthand Test 2026
For the Senior Personal Assistant post, candidates must demonstrate an English shorthand speed of 110 words per minute.
- Dictation: 550 words
- Dictation duration: 5 minutes
- Transcription time: 45 minutes
- Total marks: 120
- Candidates will get two opportunities.
- The better of the two shorthand test performances will be considered.
Candidates exceeding the prescribed mistake limit will be disqualified.
Delhi High Court PA Shorthand Test 2026
For the Personal Assistant post, the required English shorthand speed is 100 words per minute.
- Dictation: 500 words
- Dictation duration: 5 minutes
- Transcription time: 45 minutes
- Total marks: 110
- Two opportunities will be provided.
- The better performance will be considered.
The prescribed mistake limit must be followed to qualify for the next stage.
Delhi High Court SPA PA Mains Exam Pattern 2026
The Main Examination will be a descriptive English language paper carrying 100 marks with a total duration of 120 minutes.
