Gujarat Anganwadi Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must meet the prescribed educational and age requirements for the post they are applying for.
Educational Qualification
Anganwadi Worker: Candidates should have passed Class 12th. Candidates with Class 10th qualification along with the prescribed AICTE-recognised diploma may also be eligible as per the recruitment rules.
Anganwadi Helper: Candidates should have passed Class 10th.
Candidates with higher qualifications may also apply if they satisfy the remaining eligibility conditions.
Age Limit
The general age requirement is 18 to 33 years.
For existing Anganwadi Helpers applying for the Worker post, the maximum permissible age may extend up to 43 years, subject to the applicable conditions.
